OVERVIEW
Overdose deaths in the United States reached a grim milestone in 2021: 107 thousand unnecessary fatalities. Learn how the contamination of fentanyl in the illicit drug supply is a contributing factor and how naloxone (Narcan) is a vital tool in intervening in overdose and helping prevent death. Learn the signs of opioid overdose and the steps to reversing the event.

SPECIFICATIONS
The Summit Recovery Hub, a new Summit County based Recovery Community Organization (RCO), in partnership with the Summit County Public Health, presents this 90 minute informational session on the current overdose crisis and training in what the signs of overdose are and how to utilize naloxone to reverse an overdose.
